Mark Wiles
Since his early days Mark
Wiles has had a passion for wildlife. Encouraged by his
father, Arnold Wiles (Cartoonist) Marks interests lie
with birds and butterflies, culminating with the opening
of Butterfly World at Fraddam, nr Hayle, Cornwall.
Ironically, Butterfly World ceased trading due to
alleged agricultural spray drift killing the live stock
in the mid nineties. Since the demise of Butterfly
World Mark has been generating his very popular Mark's
Ark Wildlife Encounters lecture service.
For
the past four summer seasons Mark has been
presenting the 'Creepy Crawly' Show at Flambards,
Helston, Cornwall. Uncompromising in his approach,
various issues relating to the effects of industry,
farming and the publics' perception of various
animals are comprehensively dealt with appealing to
all ages."
