House, Newlyn with artist Gillian Cooper

Date: Saturday 13 September Course Fee 25

A one day drawing and painting
course in the garden at Trereife House to
develop ways to express our responses to
landscape, relating to it through drawing,
marks, colour, shape and form. We will explore
mark making using all the senses to find and
extend different ways to record our
experiences. The course is open to both
professional artists and those with no previous
artistic experience, but you will no doubt
discover the artist within you!

This is a landscape drawing and
painting class with a difference…. challenging,
intense, fun packed and productive of varied
high quality work including the use of short and
longer studies using sound, smell, touch, even
taste as well as sight as tools for development
of visual language. Students receive personal
tuition within the small group together with a
studio critique/discussion.
