Christmas Events Near Trereife

This year Penzance and Mousehole will be holding a host of Christmas events to keep both locals and visitors entertained in the festive season.

One of the most notable events near Trereife is the annual Mousehole Harbour Lights switch-on - 14th December 2013 at 7.30pm. People travel from all over the country to see the famous Mousehole lights. This year there will be an open-air Carolaire service at the entrance to the North Quay. This will comprise of the Mousehole Male Voice Choir, Member of the Mousehole Methodist Church and friends from the community. Penzance Presents (www.pzpresents.info) are publicising many of the events dotted around the Penzance area. There’s everything from Penzance lights switch-on to Pop-Up Penzance shopping, workshops, gift fairs, comedy and even Cornish rap! This is a chance to support the local businesses over Christmas - some of our regular stall holders will be at these events. To give an extra incentive, throughout the Christmas run-up, all day on Saturdays and Thursdays from 4pm, you can park for free in Penzance.
