Romi Behrens and Alice Mumford Private View
Romi and Alice’s stunning paintings were uveiled at the private view on the 26th March. The paintings themselves where very well recieved, with many commenting on how well the artists work complemented each other. The refurbished gallery now makes full use of the old library; with a new coat of paint, a rennovated smaller adjoining gallery and a roaring log fire. The exhibition itself runs to the 9th of April so there will be plenty more opportunities to view their work including this weekend when the Easter Fair will be in full swing.
The evening also featured the launch of C.V Le Grice’s poetry collection. The captivated audience where treated to an array of poem’s, a foray into the life and work of Cornwall’s ‘Lost Romantic Poet’ read by Tim Le Grice and Dr Alan Kent, who edited and produced the work. The collection will also be on sale at the Easter Fair this weekend.
