Film Venue

Trereife is perfectly suited to providing and ideal photographic and film location for a varied range of genre. Architecturally, the house is of great interest, being a fine and typical example of the houses in the beginning of the 18th Century. The House is listed Grade II with the stables and adjoining walled gardens.

We have been successful in attracting location scouts, given our ease of access, facilities and large, interesting and accommodating rooms. The outside of the house never fails to make a real impression on those that visit and the inside is equally as impressive. Recently the house has been the focus of Channel 4′s Country House Rescue and has also featured as the set for a German adaptation of a Rosamund Pilcher novel.

Trereife contains:

  • large dinning room;
  • a north facing drawing room;
  • breakfast room;
  • large hall;
  • Library;
  • 4 bedrooms on first floor with en-suite bathrooms;
  • 2 ‘east wing’ rooms;
